HBI Welcomes Gabrielle Chapman

HBI is pleased to welcome Gabrielle Chapman to the organization as its Office Manager and Social Media Coordinator. Gabrielle brings a keen interest in Boston history and historic preservation to her new position.  She is also completing an MA in public history at Northeastern University.

In her new role, Gabrielle will lead HBI’s administrative activities, and keep HBI connected to the public through management of the organization’s social media infrastructure and regular outreach to the communities in which HBI is working.

A native of Dover NH and resident of Jamaica Plain, Gabrielle completed her undergraduate studies in History, Art History and Spanish at Northeastern.  She has been building her knowledge and experience with cultural institutions and media groups through internships and employment with the National Gallery of Art, ArtLifting, The Museum of Fine Arts, Northeastern’s Library and Archives, AuctionZip, and at the on-line furniture retailer Wayfair.

Gabrielle is off to a great start with this video on the Eustis Street Fire House in Roxbury. She collaborated with the Rachel Braun, Sarah Figalora, and Darren Cole fromCity of Boston Department of Innovation and Technology to share the story of the HBI Headquarters.
