January 29, 2018 HBI Welcomes New Real Estate Director Shaurya Batra
HBI is pleased to announce the appointment of Shaurya Batra as Director of Real Estate Development. Shaurya co-established an architecture design practice and a construction business in New Delhi, India, and recently earned a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In his new role, Shaurya will lead development activities for the organization, identifying project opportunities, structuring investments and managing implementation of HBI’s pipeline. Among these are completion of the Upham’s Corner Comfort Station, the Fowler Clark Epstein Farm and emerging opportunities in Roxbury’s Dudley Square and in Dorchester.
Shaurya brings more than a decade of hands on experience with architecture, development and construction to HBI and its projects with a keen interest in the re-use and repositioning of historic buildings to HBI’s mission.
