26 Mar Upham’s Corner Comfort Station has a New Roof
Spring has arrived and with it has comes the unveiling of the Upham’s Corner Comfort Station (almost). The building that was once a convenience station (read: public restroom) is finally starting to shed its decrepit outer shell. Hidden for months under plywood, staging, and snow, the completion of construction is well within reach.
With the staging needed for MJ Mawn to access the roof removed, we can finally see the work that has been done on the clay tile roof to repair the damage from years of wear and tear. Now new and restored windows can be seen as well!
With warmer weather on the way, the MJ Mawn crew is preparing to begin the stucco repairs and painting, which will improve the building’s current grubby appearance!
