Preservation Massachusetts (PMI) presents the two-day virtual Massachusetts Historic Preservation Conference this year on Thursday and Friday, September 23-24, 2021. The event includes live speakers and panel discussions, along with on-demand presentations from partner organizations across the Commonwealth. On Thursday, the event begins with keynote speaker Sara Zewde of Harvard University on the effects of urban development, climate change, and social and political tensions on cultural landscape design.
Lawana Holland-Moore, Program Officer of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will kick off Friday’s program with “Preservation as an Act of Reclamation.”
