20 Jul 2026 HBI celebrates Old South’s People’s House Party
On July 1st, Historic Boston Inc. was honored to support Revolutionary Spaces’ 2026 People’s House Party and the launch of their new immersive historical experience Ruckus! at the Old South Meeting House.
It was a spectacular evening to be a part of, with the ribbon-cutting premiere of Ruckus! taking center stage. The show itself was a dazzling display sharing the Old South Meeting House’s history and role in the Revolutionary War in a fun, unique, and engaging way to meet every visitor where they’re at using augmented reality! Most well-known for being the site where Bostonians gathered on December 16, 1773 before storming to the harbor to carry out what would become known as the Boston Tea Party, Old South’s show Ruckus! drops the audience right into the action leading up to Boston’s role in the American Revolution.
Thank you to Revolutionary Spaces President and CEO Nat Sheidley and his entire team for organizing a fantastic evening celebrating our city’s history. Revolutionary Spaces’ stewardship of Old South Meeting House preserves not only the building itself, but also a vital space to reflect on our nation’s founding and the many voices that shaped our republic on the eve of its 250th anniversary.
Celebrate America’s 250th all summer long and get your tickets to Ruckus! today.
