21 Nov HBI Honors New Supporters From the Top of Millennium Tower
More than 80 friends of Historic Boston gathered at the top of the new Millennium Tower on November 7th to celebrate the inaugural class of Boston companies to HBI’s Corporate Support Program. Friends of HBI, old and new, made their way up to the 58th floor to enjoy stunning panoramic views of Boston and learn of HBI’s vision for historic preservation in Boston’s neighborhoods.
Guests were treated to tours of the penthouse unit as well as Millennium Tower’s amenities in the lower story clubhouse. HBI’s Board President Kathy MacNeil of Millennium Partners told everyone the story of Millennium Tower’s construction and the corresponding preservation of the old Filene’s building, the Burnham Building, next door. Kathy Kottaridis, Executive Director of HBI, shared with the group HBI’s current projects and the view forward. And long time supporter Ronald Druker of the Druker Company spoke of his association with HBI beginning with the Trilogy Fund capital campaign in 2012. Mr. Druker thanked the companies already on board with HBI and encouraged individuals and organizations to join him in supporting HBI.
HBI began its Corporate Support Program in early 2016 and is pleased to announce that over 20 companies have joined its ranks! HBI is so grateful to all the individuals and organizations that make our work in the Boston neighborhoods possible. Cheers!
