In honor of America’s 250th, we give you HBI’s copy of a 1976 pamphlet circulated by Samuel Narcus Stationery — then tenants in the 1728 Cunningham House who were inspired to restore the 277 Washington Street building for the nation’s Bicentennial after witnessing Historic Boston’s successful rehabilitation of the Old Corner Bookstore in the 1960s!
The Cunningham House was made an official Boston Landmark in 2025.
