26 Apr Pope John Paul II and the Upham’s Corner Comfort Station
There aren’t many historic photographs of the Upham’s Corner Comfort Station but one that we’ve never seen turned up this week on the Dorchester Historical Society’s blog. In 1979, during his much celebrated visit to Boston, Pope John Paul II’s parade route of included Upham’s Corner and Columbia Road.
The Dorchester Historical Society’s blog post is a reminder that entrepreneur Noah Hicks will be speaking on the planned renewal of the Comfort Station for his business, Sip n Spoke Bike Kitchen, on Friday April 28th at noon at the Old South Meetinghouse downtown.
