10 Jul Preservation Massachusetts Hosts Boston Listening Session August 9th
Preservation Massachusetts (PMI) is traveling around the Commonwealth this summer to conduct a series of listening sessions with local and regional partners, preservation groups, and citizens that will shed light on community priorities for preservation in the state. As the only statewide preservation advocacy organization, PMI’s goal for “Cruising the Commonwealth” is to understand current trends and needs affecting historic resources so it can be more effective in advancing partnerships, policies and legislative measures beneficial to preservation action.
PMI will be hosting nine meetings around the Commonwealth, all of which are open to the public. They are especially encouraging collaborators and partners outside mainstream preservation to join their preservation friends at these feedback sessions in order to define several key priority issues for the next several years of advocacy and public policy.
HBI is looking forward to the Boston meeting on August 9 at 10 am at Nixon Peabody LLP at 100 Summer Street in downtown Boston. Please mark your calendars and be sure to RSVP!
